Private Lessons
I offer private lessons via Skype for both songwriting and guitar. Lessons are tailored to the student’s interests. For questions and more details get in touch by using the contact form below or the social media icons at the top of the page. Current rates are $45/hour.
Songwriting lessons may cover a wide variety of topics, including: getting started, the editing process, how to improve your lyrics, integrating words with music, song analysis and critique, and much more. Lessons can focus on any and all aspects of songwriting.
Guitar lessons are currently offered in how to play in alternate tunings. I perform in Open D style tuning, a very versatile tuning great for solo accompaniment and band performances. Teaching topics include: triads, scales, slide guitar, music theory, chords, blues, folk, and much more.
