Songwriting lessons may cover a wide variety of topics, including: getting started, the editing process, how to improve your lyrics, integrating words with music, song analysis and critique, and more. Lessons can focus on any and all aspects of songwriting. 

Guitar lessons are offered in how to play in alternate tunings. These days I perform almost exclusively in Open D style tuning, an extremely versatile tuning great for all genres and accompaniment situations. Teaching topics include: triads, scales, slide guitar, music theory, chords, blues, folk, and more. All skill levels are welcome.
